Bowflex Series 3 Treadmill Review
This comes from a reputable company (Bowflex) and is basically the lower-end model of the generic Bowflex line. It will run you about $1,000.
The advantages:
A lengthy warranty - 2 years for parts, 1 year for labor
Heavy frame, keeps it from shaking around (especially if you are a heavier person)
"Quick keys" that let you change the walking speed immediately
Heart rate sensors in the handlebars
Low cost compared to the features it includes
Good shock absorption, which is great for avoiding knee injuries
Extremely strong reviews on Amazon.com (indicates good customer satisfaction)
The disadvantages:
The low cost comes at a price - they've removed some of the features from the more advanced models (Series 5 and Series 7, which you will also want to consider if you're looking at this one)
Pretty heavy - nearly 300 pounds, so you won't be moving this around easily
Can get loud to work out on
The motor isn't all that powerful
