The Healthrider H550i Treadmill is a good workout machine and comes with a price range of approximately $675 - $750. It is compatible with iFit, allowing the user to make use of interactive fitness CDs and videos which can make your workout a little less boring, or even guide it for you. You can adjust the incline up to 10% and the speed level can be adjusted up to 12 mph. There are 10 different pre-set workouts, and there is a built-in heart rate control workout. The 2.5 horsepower motor is one of the more powerful models out there, and supports your fitness routine on a spacious 20 x 60 tread belt. You might find a comparable product with slightly larger running area, but not significantly more. The H550i also has a maximum user weight capacity of up to 325 lbs. The 12-year motor warranty is pretty generous, and comes with 1 year warranty on parts and labor.
Advantages:
- 20 by 60 inch surface area is one of the largest areas, definitely for stuff in this price range. You might find a comparable product with slightly larger running area, but not significantly more.
- Sturdy model with a maximum weight capacity of 325 lbs. No issues here.
- 12 year warranty on motor, with 1 year on parts and labor.
Disadvantages:
- You might have a hard time finding the H550i. It may be a discontinued product line.
- Does not fold completely and requires more space when storing.
