Horizon T82 Treadmills
Horizon Fitness’ T82 treadmill is a premium end model priced at approximately $800. Be careful where you purchase the product as you might end up shelling out close to a thousand dollars if the retailer that you go to sells the T82 at a higher price. This treadmill is comfortable and robust, as the equipment weighs 187 pounds. What you get are a lot of features including a more powerful 2.25 horsepower motor, speed range up to 10 mph, elevation range up to 10%, a nice running area of 20 by 55 inches, and ComfortZone air cell cushion system. There are 14 pre-set workout programs to provide you with a variety of fitness routines. Three orange backlit LCD screens help you orchestrate your regimen. Also, there are two cup holders on each side of the control panel to help you rehydrate when cooling down or conducting a walking routine after your workout.
Advantages:
- Lifetime warranty on frame and motor; one-year warranty on parts and labor.
- Air cushion for running, and built-in cooling fan, provides comfort that may extend your cardiovascular workout.
Disadvantages:
- Might be too pricey for fitness enthusiast if extra accessories are not applicable to the user (i.e., MP3 input, headphone output, console speakers, etc.).
