Horizon T73 Treadmills

The Horizon T73 Treadmill comes with a price tag of approximately $1,500.  At this price point, it behooves the consumer to look at several competing products before making a final purchase decision. You should be comfortable in a smaller size running surface area because the treadbelt comes in at 18 by 50 inches.  There are competing treadmills that have a larger surface area, and this is probably an important criteria for those runners who have a rigorous routine.  The 2.25 hp motor supports speeds of up to 10 mph and inclines of up to 12%.  The weight capacity is at a dependable 325 pounds, making this a sturdy model that will not shake too much.  There is a lifetime warranty on the frame, 12 years on motor and parts, and 1 year for labor.  That’s pretty generous.

Advantages:

  1. Transport wheels / rollers allow you to move the equipment around, including for storage.
  2. 325 pound maximum weight capacity makes this a sturdy and dependable model.

Disadvantages:

  1. The belt size of 50 by 18 inch could be larger.  Compare with competing treadmills and there are others that have a larger surface area.
  2. This seems to be a discontinued product line.  It will take more effort to find the T73 for purchase.
