LifeSpan TR2250-HRC Treadmills
The TR2250-HRC is a more sophisticated
and heavier version of its cousin, the TR 500. It has similar
functions as the TR 500, including six pre-set programs for the belt
incline, six for the belt speed, and two which you can customize for your
own exercise routines. It also has a program which allows the machine
to intuitively change its settings based on your target heart rate, which
the machine monitors through a chest strap and/or through contact heart rate
sensors built into the handlebars. However, in addition, the TR2250-HC
comes with body mass analysis function that displays your basal metabolic
rate and body fat percentage. The treadmill has a solid metal build.

LifeSpan Fitness TR2250-HRC
Advantages:
- Even more highly intuitive
than the TR 500. It not only helps you monitor your heart rate, but it
also helps you monitor your metabolic rate and body fat percentage.
However, these readings are not as accurate as equipment built for
medical purposes, and should only be taken as guides and not as actual
readings.
- Solid build. The treadmill
can support users who weigh as much as 300 lbs.
Disadvantages:
- Power consumption is even
higher than the TR-500 at 2 HP. If you exercise often, your power bills
are going to get more expensive.
- At an estimated retail price
of $1,600, this unit is expensive, probably too expensive considering
that it has relatively similar features to the much cheaper TR-500.
