LifeSpan Fitness TR 2000-HRC Treadmills
Why is the price for this product ranging from $1,400 - $1,700? $300? That’s a good chunk of change for the same product. You will find certain features that you would expect from a treadmill that is priced in this range. But then again, you will find the same features on treadmills that are a few hundred dollars cheaper. If you are looking at the TR 2000-HRC, then please look at other comparable treadmills. Don’t settle on this one just because this happens to be the first or second model that you chanced on.
2.5 continuous horsepower motor – that’s great. 12 pre-select programs; foldable frame; 300 pound weight capacity; 4 LCD panels; heart monitor; the 59 by 30.7 inch space is actually a good size portion. There is a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor; two year warranty on parts and one year warranty on labor. The frame looks pretty sturdy. Buuuuttt, the opinion remains: keep looking.
Advantages:
- 59 by 30.7 inch space? Wow, that’s a lot of room. No, don’t walk your dog on this thing while you’re walking or running. I’m sure that’s not a good idea.
Disadvantages:
- Shop, and then shop some more. You can find other treadmills with the same or more features and still save a few hundred dollars. This is not the most competitive model when you run an informed cost / benefit analysis.
