The 995T is an extreme high end treadmill. It's got all of the functional features of its slightly more expensive counterpart, the Motus m995TL, with only one major difference - this one doesn't have a built in television screen. Instead, it's got an LCD screen that you can use to select exercise options. Be careful looking around online, because many descriptions can be confusing - some sites claim the 995T has a television as well, but Motus makes very clear on its website that it's only the TL series that has them. Other than that, it is an extremely good treadmill. You save a little bit of money by ditching the TV, but you get all the same functionality otherwise - the only difference is the monitors. They've got the same engines, etc. so if you're fine just listening to music, or already have a TV at home, then don't shell out the extra money. This one is made by Motus USA, which is a subsidiary of the Korean corporation Motus Co., Ltd. They're not really a name brand, but they use parts from places you know well - Samsung, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi. It costs around $6,700 to $7000.
The advantages:
The horsepower is extremely high - the motor will last a lot longer
The running area is huge, so you get lots of space to move around on and don't feel cramped.
Handgrips that are designed to get rid of the bacteria in your sweat (good if you've got someone else using it, too)
The chassis is stable, which means there won't be much vibration and it doesn't shake very much. That's extremely helpful if you are a larger person
It has an AC built into it
The disadvantages:
Way too expensive to be worth it for anyone who is just using it casually (unless you've got money to burn). These things are mainly for high-end gyms, the very wealthy, or possibly someone training for sports professionally.
