The C 525 Treadmill is a product by ProForm, a popular fitness products brand which tends to have higher end offerings. Generally, higher end products tend to be manufactured in lower quantity so this may or may not factor in its availability in stores. There seems to be several online retailers carrying this line, however. Features include a 1.75 continuous horsepower motor; 300 pound weight capacity; EKG heart monitor; quick select programs on speed and incline control for those wishing to work out right away; a CoolAire workout fan, respectable 19 by 50 inch space; racetrack on display to track progress; and console displaying speed, pace, time, distance, and calories burned for personal fitness and training measurement. 8 preprogrammed cardiovascular plans provide additional support to help the user reach his or her goals. Its ProTech cushioning system can be a most welcome feature, especially for dedicated runners, for reducing impact on the joints. Finally, ProForm’s C 525 has a foldable frame for easier storage.
Advantages:
- The 19 by 50 inch walking / running space is relatively sizeable compared to lower-end peers, supported by a comfortable cushioning system.
- The CoolAire fan is probably most appreciated by users in warmer regions of the globe.
- The incline can go up to 10% for those seeking a cardiovascular challenge.
- Has a 300 pound weight limit capacity, a 50 pound or so increase over some comparable products.
Disadvantages:
- Some of the extra features it has may not be absolutely necessary for all shoppers.
